Havana, Sep 4 (Prensa Latina) A group of 74 majors, 20 councilpersons and other Bolivian social leaders arrived in Havana to attend the 1st Meeting of Cuba-Bolivia Municipalities.
The chairman of Havana´s Assembly of the People´s Power, Juan Contino Aslan, said the meeting --to take place at the city´s Palace of Conventions-- will serve to promote solidarity and exchange experiences on fields like health care, education, sports and social work, in which Cuba has broad experience.
The
visitor´s busy agenda includes and interview with Ricardo Alarcon, chairman
of the National Assembly of People's Power, and visits to schools, health
care institutions and other places of historic and social interest until returning
home September 11.
