CUBA, April 12, 2007.- The workers of Cuba's Foreign Ministry (MINREX), headed by first deputy minister Bruno Rodriguez, condemned the possible release on bail of self confessed terrorist Luis Posada Carriles. "This is a new US government maneuver against the Cuban Revolution and against our people," said Olga Dalmau, secretary of the Communist Party committee at MINREX. "Allowing the criminal to go free on bond and not trying him as a terrorist gives him the real possibility of a new escape," said Dalmau. She noted in contrast that the Cuban Five, "our five heroes," remain in US jails for fighting terrorism. Speaking on behalf of the Young Communists of MINREX, Lester Delgado said that they may free Posada but they will be judged by history. "We have truth and justice on our side," he assured.
