21st of April, 2007 Istanbul, Turkey To the Embassy of the United States of America in Ankara, Turkey We condemn strongly the release of Luis Posada Carriles, known with his agressions against Cuba and to the progressive forces This fact has shown apparently that the rhetoric of the USA about "struggle against terrorism" is a complete hypocrisy. But, on the other hand, it is an absolute unlawfullness to keep in prison Five Cuban Heroes who had not other aim than to try to protect their countries. We condemn the release of this terrorist by the US government against all warnings which were expressed by President Fidel Castro. We know that it is not a mere coincidence that after one of your presidents, Father Bush, has released terrorist Orlando Bosch who is a collaborator of Posada, Bush the son has released Posada Carriles. We, the friends of Cuba in Turkey and all over the world, we request the immediate re-arrest of Luis Possada Carriles and him being judged with the accusation of being a killer and at the same time the release of Five Cuban Heroes you unjustly keep in prison and their return back to their country, Cuba. We are conscient of the gains of Cuba for a human life and of the importance of these gains for our world. While working on to spread these gains to more countries, we are decisive not to leave Cuba alone against the aggressions committed to her. Viva Cuba ! Viva Socialism ! Venceremos !
