PAKISTAN, May 07, 2007.- The Pak-Cuba Friendship Society that has its headquarters in the city of Lahore, capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab, vigorously condemned through an official statement the decision of a United States’ Judicial Court of liberating the connoted terrorist Luis Posada Carriles. The official statement, which was distributed to the local media, adds that it constitutes an irony to observe how the government of the United States declares to be in the front line against terrorism while on behalf of the war against terrorism hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Bush Administration cynically protects Luis Posada Carriles, the most notorious terrorist in the western hemisphere. Later on it is expressed that, while this farce takes place, Five Cubans remain unjustly imprisoned in North American jails to fight against the terrorism that is in fact orchestrated against Cuba from right wing sectors of the United States. The missive concludes expressing the adhesion of all the members of the Friendship Society to the demand that the North American government prosecutes Posada Carriles for his terrorist acts and consent his deportation to Venezuela where he will be processed for his crimes.
