Radio Havana Cuba´s Bernie Dwyer and Roberto Ruiz Rebo from Cuba’s Education Channel met with Danish television political correspondent, Steffen Knudsen in the studios of one of the top national television broadcasting stations in Denmark, DR Television based in Copenhagan.

Mr. Knudsen had heard about "Mission against Terror" directed by Dwyer and Ruiz Rebo about the five Cuban men incarcerated in the United States charged with conspiracy to commit espionage, among other charges. The two directors are currently on a Scandinavian tour promoting the film which tells the truth about the miscarriage of justice that landed the five Cubans in prison serving extremely severe and unjust sentences. The tour has been arranged by the solidarity with the Cuban Five groups in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

The Danish television correspondent was interested in knowing the reason why Bernie Dwyer and Roberto Ruiz made the film and what they hoped to achieve. Both of them agreed that they were motivated to make the documentary to expose the contradictions and injustices contained in the case and also to provide a useful tool for solidarity groups to use in their work to free the five Cubans. Of course, they replied that by providing a good, interesting and analytical piece, the case would excite the interest of those working for peace and justice and could eventually achieve such a groundswell of opinion in favor of releasing the five men, the United States authorities would finally be obliged to set them free.

Steffen Knudsen is confident that the documentary will be shown on Danish television in the near future reaching a new and hopefully motivated audience.
