Havana, Dec 24 (Prensa Latina) Members of the 42nd Nordic Solidarity with Cuba Brigade currently doing voluntary work in the Island have demanded an early release for the five Cubans imprisoned in the US since September 1998.

Nearly one hundred youths from Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, Finland, Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Austria, Germany, and Turkey -most of them visiting Cuba for the first time- Thursday met with relatives of the Cuba Five, as they are known in international campaigns for their release.

We hope justice finds a space in the US legal system, said Magali Llort, the mother of Fernando, one of the Five severely punished in the US.

The brigade members will be taking part in productive and solidarity activities in Cuba until January 8.
