Cuba becomes 54th Member State of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO)

GENEVA, November 21, 2014. In ceremony held last November 18, the Instrument of Ratification was handed in by virtue of which Cuba made official entrance to the International Civil Defence Organization as Member State.

Prime Minister of Guinea Bissau Arrives to Cuba

CUBA, November 21, 2014. H.E. Mr. Domingos Simões Pereira, Prime Minister of  the Republic of Guinea Bissau arrrived to Cuba this Thursday, November 20,  in an official visit. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga, offered a warm welcome to the Prime Minister at the International Airport Jose Marti.

Cuba Helps Jamaica against Ebola

JAMAICA, November 19, 2014. Jamaica has announced the arrival of 30 Cuban health workers who have been trained in Ebola management, under a human resource agreement between Havana and Kingston.

According to the Jamaican Health Ministry, the workers will be deployed in different areas with the guidance of regional health authorities.
