Indonesia Health Minister receives Cuban ambassador

INDONESIA, November 23, 2015.- Today, the Indonesian Health Minister, Dr. Nila D. A.  Moeloek,  received a courtesy visit  from the Ambassador of Cuba Nirsia Castro Guevara.

During the meeting the two discussed aspects of the links between the respective Ministries of Health and explored possibilities for developing bilateral cooperation.

The Minister was accompanied by Doctor and Professor Akmal Taker , Director General of Health and other officials of the Ministry as well as members of  minister staff.  (Cubaminrex/ Embacuba Indonesia)

Guantánamo central to debate on world peace

New Minister of Tourism Canada receives to its Cuban counterpart

CANADA, November 13th, 2015.- The Cuban M inister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero Cruz, was received by the new minister of tourism of Canada, Ms. Bardish Chagger, as part of the visit  made by a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba, to meet with key tour operators and travel agencies from the first tourism source market of the island.

Antigua and Barbuda Health Minister travels to Cuba.

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, November 10th, 2015.- In the early hours of Tuesday 10th November, the Minister of Health and the Environment and Member of Parliament, Molwyn Joseph, departed for Havana. He is accompanied by Dr. Rhonda Sealy-Thomas, Chief Medical Officer at the Ministry of Health of Antigua and Barbuda. They were sent off by the Ambassador of Cuba in Antigua, Gustavo Veliz Olivares and the Chief of the Medical Brigade, Dr. Daymarelis Ortega. 

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands to make an official visit to Cuba

NETHERLANDS, 11 November 2015.- From January 10th to the 14th, the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, H.E. Mrs. Lilianne Ploumen, will make an official visit to Havana, where she will carry out a wide program of activities.

Mrs. Ploumen will head a commercial delegation, which will include plans to include top-level Dutch companies as well as sports and culture organizations.

Cuban First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs visits Thailand

THAILAND, November 11, 2015 - Marcelino Medina González, first Deputy Minister of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, concluded official visit to Thailand between 5 and 7 November last, the first at this level since diplomatic relations were established, months before the triumph of the revolution, also the first official visit of a Cuban Deputy Minister in recent years.
