Cuban ambassador presents Credential Letters to the Cook Islands
Ambassador Edgardo Valdés López virtually presented the Credentials that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Cook Islands.
In a ceremony at the headquarters of the High Commissioner of the Cook Islands in New Zealand, the Cuban Ambassador addressed His Excellency Sir Tom John Marsters, KBE Representative of the Queen in the Cook Islands, to whom he conveyed the feelings of solidarity and friendship of the Cuban authorities towards the authorities and the people of the Cook Islands. Likewise, he reiterated Cuba's willingness to work together for the well-being of the nationals of both countries and for a better world.
Prime Minister of Mongolia receives Cuban Ambassador
The Hon. Mr. Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai, the new Prime Minister of Mongolia, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción in a meeting where the main aspects of diplomatic relations between the two countries were discussed, which last year 2020 marked 60 years of its establishment. Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene for his part expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations and cooperation
Cuba denounces at UNESCO US blockade impact on Covid-19 times
Cuba's Ambassador to UNESCO Yahima Esquivel denounced at a UNESCO forum the obstacles posed in the fight against Covid-19 by the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against the country. The blockade is the fundamental impediment to the acquisition of medicines, health equipment, materials and supplies needed to fight against the pandemic, the diplomat noted on her speech at the Ethical Considerations of the Covid-19 Crisis from a Global Perspective event.
