Cuba and Liberia consolidate their bilateral ties

Monrovia, September 17, 2019 - The President Pro-tempore of the Liberian Senate, H.E. Albert Tugbe Chie, received this Wednesday the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, who is making a working visit to this country.

In an atmosphere of cordiality and mutual respect, the parties ratified the will of both peoples and governments to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as to strengthen friendly ties between the two nations.

Currently 7 students from this African nation are studying in Cuba and the same number of graduates returned to Liberia to contribute to the development of the country.
