Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cuba and Costa Rica Hold Official Conversations
CUBA, January 10, 2013.- H.E. Mr. Enrique Castillo Barrantes, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cult of the Republic of Costa Rica, held this morning, official conversation with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, as part of his visit to our country.
During the cordial meeting, both Chancellors reviewed the situation of the bilateral relations while they conveyed their interest to diversify cooperation. Likewise, the parts exchanged on other issues of common interest from the international and regional agenda, particularly CELAC.
Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla praised the support offered by Costa Rica to the fight of the Cuban people against the blockade imposed by the United States.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Hubert G. Méndez Acosta, Ambassador of Costa Rica to Cuba; H.E. Mr. Danilo González Ramírez, Director General of Foreign Policy, and H.E. Mrs. Irina Elizondo Delgado, Director for Cooperation. On the Cuban part, Marielena Ruiz Capote, director for Latin American and the Caribbean affairs, at the Cuban Chancery. (Cubaminrex)
