Australian Foreign Minister receives Cuban Ambassador.

Canberra, June 15, 2021.- The Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marise Payne, received the Cuban ambassador Ariel Lorenzo Rodríguez on Tuesday afternoon. During the cordial meeting, they exchanged on the current state of bilateral relations and their development possibilities in sectors such as health, biotechnology, mining and energy as well as the existing potential to promote triangular cooperation projects for the benefit of the Pacific Small Island Developing States.

Islamabad, June 7, 2021 - The new ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Zéner Javier Caro González, presented on Monday his credentials to the president of the South Asian nation, Dr. Arif Alvi. During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat conveyed greetings from the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and expressed his willingness to work hard to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The high-ranking Cuban official stated that corruption is a persistent global phenomenon that requires broad international cooperation to mitigate its effects.
