Brazilian journalists demand release of the Five.
BRASIL, August 23, 2010.- The members of the National Federation of Journalists of Brazil demanded in Porto Alegre the release of the Five Cubans Antiterrorist unjustly imprisoned in U.S. for nearly 12 years.
A motion passed at the congress of that organization urged all the journalists from the South American nation to support the cause of the Five and fight against the manipulation of the oligarchic press on the subject.
To this solidarity expression with the cause of the Five joined the Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship, which announced Sunday its participation in a symposium on these fighters to be held in Cuba in November. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
