Cuban Student Gives an Update on the Cuban Five at an Elementary School in Grenada.
GRENADA, 17 September 2010.- Melissa Ramos, a Cuban student accompanying her parents at the Cuban diplomatic mission in Grenada, made an emotional presentation at “Beacon” Elementary School for her classmates in 6th Grade, in which she updated them on the situation of our Five Cuban Heroes, demanded that U.S. President, Barack Obama, release the five Cuban young men, as part of the actions taking place during the Solidarity with Cuba Week in Grenada.
The ceremony was attended by the School Principal, Cheryl Bernabe, the Cuban Ambassador to the island, Ángel Reigosa de la Cruz; part of the faculty and staff of the Cuban Embassy on the island.
All the people present praised the presentation of the Cuban young girl and made the commitment to join the international claim for the immediate release of our Five compatriots and for the lifting of the U.S. blockade against the island. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Granada)
