Panama Youth Urge for Release of Cuban 5.
PANAMA, February 5, 2011.- - The Baru Volcano, the highest peak in Panama, became the latest site on Friday for actions as part of the international campaign to free the Five Cuban antiterrorists fighters unjustly incarcerated in the United States since 1998.
Panamanian youth representatives were making their last preparations for their climb of that mountain this weekend, the mountain top stands at 3,475 meters above sea level in the province of Chiriqui.
The group is led by Jonathan Gonzalez of the Patriotic Youth Movement, the one who came up with the idea at a solidarity meeting held last year in Nicaragua. (Cubaminrex - RHC)
