Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica Makes Presentation about the Case of our Five Heroes at “Mico” University College.

JAMAICA, October 4, 2011.- Last Friday, September 30, Ambassador Yuri Gala Lopez gave a dissertation on the case of our Five Heroes in the presence of students and professors of the “Mico” University College, located in the country’s capital.

Ambassador Gala López, when making his power point presentation, spoke about terrorism suffered by Cuba since 1959. In this context, he highlighted the necessary and heroic task our five brothers were carrying out in order to gather information on the violent actions against Cuba that terrorist groups, based in Miami, Florida, were orchestrating.

Offering details on the case, the Cuban diplomat recalled that those five Cuban antiterrorist fighters have been in prison for more than 13 years. He mentioned some of the illegalities and abuses against them and their families. He denounced that the circles of power in U.S. are trying to impose a wall of silence around the case, so as to prevent in this way, the truth from being known by the U.S. people and in other countries.

During the questions and answer session, a useful discussion took place between Ambassador Gala Lopez and the teachers and students present there, who showed interest in deepening and increasing their knowledge about this and other issues. (Cubaminrex/ Embacuba Jamaica)
