The 5 of February for the Cuban 5
This month the 5th falls on a Sunday and the offices of the White House will be closed. To achieve a greater impact we ask you to join in this coordinated action on Monday February 6
On January 5th the international solidarity movement for the Cuban 5 was felt with more strength than ever. On that day, people from all over the world called, sent e-mails and faxes to the White House. It happened in different languages but in ONE VOICE to demand President Obama grant the immediate freedom of Gerardo, Ramón, Antonio and Fernando and the return of Rene to his homeland.
The action had an impact on Twitter and on the White House's phone lines that received a great number of calls from inside and outside the United States.
We need to continue this action each and every month and to bring more people into this international campaign. Spread the word through your social networks.
This Monday February 6th, use all avenues of communication through e-mails, phone calls, postal mail, telegrams, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Let's demand that President Obama make use of the rights conferred upon him by the US Constitution to put an end to this colossal injustice and allow the FIVE to return home to their loved ones.
