President Raul Castro Back in Cuba from Ecuador

CUBA, August 11, 2009. Cuban President Raul Castro arrived in Havana on Tuesday afternoon after concluding his official visit to Ecuador, where he attended the swearing-in ceremony of his Ecuadorean counterpart, Rafael Correa.

Present at Havana’s José Martí International Airport to welcome the Cuban head of state was First Vice-President Jose Ramón Machado Ventura.

Raul headed the Cuban delegation to Correa’s swearing-in ceremony and among other activities he participated in the mass meeting held on Monday at Quito’s Atahualpa Stadium. (Cubaminrex- ACN)
