Belize, 8 of December, 2009. With various celebration activities, Belize commemorates Cuba CARICOM day. In all districts of the country, collaborators, friends of Cuba and Cuban Residents have paid homage to this day of 1972 when 4 brave Caribbean States decided to break the isolation that had been imposed on Cuba. The Embassy of Cuba has planned also a series of activities to commemorate the occasion, initiated by a Press Release. The TV Program Belize Exposure, referred also to the importance of the date. The Ambassador of Cuba to Belize offered today an exclusive interview to Channel 5 TV and made special emphasis in the goals of the region to achieve a broader integration.
