CUBA, June 29, 2009. Cuban President Raul Castro arrived in Nicaragua on Monday afternoon to participate in an ongoing extraordinary summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA), which is focusing on Sunday’s coup d’état against Honduran President Manuel Zelaya and the current situation in the Central American nation. Thus far, the regional cooperation and integration bloc has already condemned the coup and has demanded the immediate reinstatement of the Honduran constitutional President, Manuel Zelaya.Raul Castro will also participate in a meeting of the Rio Group that will take place later today.
