Belize, 29 of June 2009. The Minister of Health of Belize, Hon. Pablo Marin attended the farewell celebration for a group of Cuban Health workers which will conclude their mission in Belize. Also present in the northern city of Corozal were Senator Roosevelt Blades and the Cuban Ambassador to Belize Manuel Rubido. The Belizean Minister thanked the Cuban Medical Brigade for their work during these two years and wish the returning collaborators all kinds of personal and professional success. He added that the people of Belize will be eternally grateful for the work they have done, which has left a profound print of friendship and professionalism. Along with the other guests certificates were issued in recognition of the task accomplished. In the political and cultural activity, our collaborators read poems and had words of encouragement for those who stay and the ones that will take up there places.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belize)
