Belize, June 1, 2009. In accordance with the cooperation agreements existing between Cuba and Belize, young Cuban students have been taking English courses in the Caribbean Nation for over ten years now, in one year scholarships. On this Occasion the Belize Regional Language center has graduated 44 students from 7 countries including 7 from Cuba. At the graduation ceremony the ambassador of Cuba to Belize, Manuel Rubido, congratulated the new graduates and wished them success when they return to their work places in Cuba, where they can put into practice the knowledge acquired. This year, Belize has again offered Cuba 10 more language scholarships. The new students will commence their course during the summer of 2009. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belice ) |
