Raúl receives Venezuelan vice president

CUBA, April 12, 2010. CUBAN President Raúl Castro Ruz yesterday afternoon received Rafael Ramírez Carreño, Venezuelan vice president and minister of energy and oil.

The meeting took place in the context of the excellent state of bilateral ties and rounded off two days of exchange between the distinguished visitor and Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, vice president of the Council of Ministers, who was also present at the meeting.

Ramírez and Cabrisas, co-presidents of the Cuba-Venezuela Intergovernmental Commission, together with other officials from both countries, reviewed the progress of agreements adopted in its 10th session, which took place in December.
