Raul Castro Welcomes Hugo Chavez in Havana

CUBA, Apr 15, 2010. -  Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez, who arrived in Havana on Thursday for a working visit accompanied by several of his ministers.

Raul received Chavez at Havana’s Jose Marti international airport, where the Venezuelan delegation arrived from Nicaragua.

According to a televised report aired on Thursday afternoon, the leaders held each other in a warm embrace as a symbol of the fraternal bonds between Cuba and Venezuela. (Cubaminrex - acn)
