Seminar on the Cuban Revolution in Limpopo SOUTH AFRICA, August 2ND, 2010.- The Friends of Cuba Society (FOCUS) in the province of Limpopo, celebrated the 57 Anniversary of the attacks to the Moncada and Bayamo barracks with a seminar on the achievements of the Cuban Revolution. The event took place at the headquarters of the UNISA having as guest speaker George Mashamba, member of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party and also Chairperson of FOCUS in Limpopo. Some South Africans graduated from various specialties expressed their pride for the possibility to study in Cuba and the lessons learned during the stay in that country. On behalf of the Cuban collaborators, Dr. José Pérez Zaldívar, Head of the medical brigade in Limpopo transmitted the responsibility acquired by the Cuban professionals to contribute to the improvement of the standards of life of the South African people.
