Nadine Gordimer and Ariel Dorfman expressed solidarity with Gerardo Hernández SOUTH AFRICA, August 2ND, 2010.- The Nobel Literature Laureate Ms. Nadine Gordimer signed the urgent appeal of the International Committee for the Freedom of the Cuban Free the Five requesting the immediate end of the cruel and inhuman treatment currently imposed on Gerardo Hernández. Nadine has been requesting the release of the Cuban Five in many tribunes including the Amicus Curiae signed by 10 Nobel Prize asking the US Supreme Court to retrial the Five. The well known Argentino-Chilean intellectual Ariel Dorfman, who served as Cultural Advisor of the late Chilean President Salvador Allende, also signed the document. (Cubaminrex - Embacuba Sudáfrica)
