Cuban ambassador interviewed on TV in Antigua for the Cuba-CARICOM Day.

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, December 10, 2010.- On the occasion of the day Cuba-CARICOM Cuban Ambassador Jose Manuel Inclan this country made a conference televised salute to important historical date, this day marked the 38 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Cuba and CARICOM countries.

In his presentation highlighted how important it was at that time the support received by these countries, challenging the privacy policy of the U.S. toward Cuba, and discussed the status of relations that exist today and cooperative programs undertaken Cuba in this small Caribbean island, particularly stressed the solidarity and cooperation between Cuba and the Haitian people in the fight against cholera.

Also attending foreign ministry officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Antigua and Antiguans professionals who studied in Cuba which highlighted the value of cooperation of the Cuban people in these countries in the Caribbean. Subsequently opened in the old National Museum exhibition on the day of Cuba CARICON the presence of the Cuban Ambassador and Mrs. Paulette Otto Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs with the participation of embassy officials and members of the brigade of collaboration in Antigua.
