Bolivian Minister of Institutional Transparency Holds Meetings with Cuban Authorities CUBA, May 20, 2010. The Bolivian Minister of Institutional Transparency and Fight against Corruption, Dr. Nardi Suxo Iturry —who is in Havana on an official visit at the invitation of the General Comptroller’s Office of the Republic of Cuba— met on Thursday withAttorney General Dario Delgado Cura. The visitor also met with Deputy Attorney General Rafael Pino Becquer and with other officials with whom she spoke about the structure of the Cuban Attorney General’s Office, the fight against corruption and the organization of an international event on this topic next year, among other subjects. Also on Thursday, Suxo Iturry was received by Deputy Minister of Justice Urbano Pedraza Linares and by the secretary of the National Anti-Drug Commission, Israel Ibarra. On Thursday afternoon, the visitor held a working meeting with the president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Rodolfo Davalos Fernandez, and with other officials of this institution, who gave her details of the Chamber’s work in the control of firms accredited in Cuba and its experience regarding arbitration. Suxo Iturry was accompanied by a representative of her ministry in the Bolivian Department of Beni, Maria del Carmen Castelo, and representatives from the Cuban General Comptroller’s Office.
