Mothers’ Day Celebrated in Grenada
GRENADA, 13 May, 2010.- Cuban cooperators in Grenada, the Cuban community in this country and the staff of Cuba’s Diplomatic Mission in this nation celebrated Mothers’ Day with a cultural activity in the city of St, George’s.
The Head of the Brigade of Construction Workers, Domingo Alas, gave the keynote remarks of the event, and two thirds of the Cuban cooperators offering their solidarity assistance in Grenada are mothers who decided to come and assist this brotherly Caribbean country, despite the fact that this means being away from their children.
