Cuban and Chinese Parliamentary Presidents Share Dialogue

CUBA, November 24th, 2010.- The president of the Cuban National Assembly, Ricardo Alarcón, dialogued with his Chinese counter-part, Wu Bang-guo, in Bei Jing.
Alarcon also met with Jia Qinglin, president of the Chinese People’s Political Consultation Conference, which advises and participates in the discussion and management of State matters.
The Cuban legislator was also received by the head of the International Relations Department at the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Wang Jiarui.

The president of the Cuban Parliament began an official visit to China on Monday in the southern-western municipality of Chongqing, which is subordinated to the central government, where he met with the First Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party in that territory, Bo Xilai, and with local government leaders.

He also visited production centers to learn about the socio-economic development in this municipality, which has more than 30 million inhabitants and is located next to the province of Sichuan. (Cubaminrex - RHC)
