Members of the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba) to Visit Cuba to Participate in May Day Activities SAINT LUCIA, April 28th, 2011. Members of the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba) will be visiting Cuba from April 29th to May 8th, 2011; to participate in May Day Activities. The highlight of the visit will be a Solidarity message delivered by Bro. Velon John. This meeting will take place at the Conventions Palace, in Havana on May 2nd. May Day celebrations are a grand event by the Government of Cuba and the Cuban Trade Union Congress; celebrated annually, attracting over a million Cubans and many participants from all around the world. The group, which comprises of 20 persons, including 3 participants from Grenada, will attend the May Day Rally, visit historical, cultural and educational institutions in Cuba.
