Nobody Has Done So Much For the People of Haiti Than Cuba

BARBADOS, April 7, 2011.- With these words began his presentation the icon cultivator of the calypso genre Anthony Mighty Gabby, on the left opened the concert tour called Toussaint Louverture at the University of the Western Indies-Cave Hill, on the occasion of the tribute devoted to Haitian patriot.

On an evening in which participated also the Rector of the University, Sir Hilary Beckles, and the Director of Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination Gladstone Yearwood, Gabby sang a moving song / protest in honor of "Haiti and its colonial suffering" as the singer said.
 
Addressing the media after the conclusion of his performance, Gabby reiterated its support for Cuba's work in Haiti, gave elements the number of physicians, the presence of ELAM graduates and mentioned that it was a shame what the “first world”  do in Haiti where  Cuba sent only help to save lives”.
