Cuban soccer team visits Jamaica to attend the 2011 U-17 CONCACAF Championship JAMAICA, February 22, 2011.- A Cuban soccer team visited Jamaica to attend the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football U-17 World Cup qualifiers, an event being held in the city of Montego Bay as part of the qualifying matches for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, Mexico 2011. The Cuban team faced those of the USA and Panama in matches held on Monday 14 and Wednesday 16, this month, respectively. The Cuban team was outmatched in the first competition while settling for a 0-0 draw against Panama. In both matches, the Cuban football team received the ardent support of members of the Cuban state mission in Jamaica. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Jamaica)
