Encounter of Cuban residents in the Embassy of Cuba in Antigua and Barbuda.

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, February 19, 2011 - At the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba in St John's Antigua and Barbuda was a meeting of the Cuban community residing in this country. The same was attended by Cuban Ambassador Jose Manuel Inclán Embade and Jorge Romero Montero Consul of the Embassy of Cuba.
This meeting is part of the work being carried Cubans living in this Caribbean island to defend the unit, its idiosyncrasies prevail and back to the battle being waged by the people of Cuba to defend their gains, they expressed Dr. Pedro Cruz board member in his words about the importance of maintaining close ties with the country of their birth.
In his speech, the Cuban ambassador updated the attendees about the process of discussing the guidelines of the economic and social policy is happening in Cuba and urged them to be informed of these events of great importance for Cubans found inside and outside the country, for its part, the Cuban consul discussed issues on current migration policy and the facilities provided by the consulate for the improvement of the various consular services.
In the final moments of the participants signed a letter sent to U.S. president demanding the immediate release of five Cuban heroes imprisoned by the Empire and the cessation of economic and financial blockade imposed by his government to the people of Cuba.
