Activity celebrating the International Women's Day.

SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS, March 11, 2011.- On Tuesday, 8th of March, Cuban health specialists and the staff of the Cuban Embassy in Saint Kitts and Nevis celebrated the International Women's day at the Medical Brigade headquarter in Basseterre.

Dr. Adrián Núñez Quintana, Head of the Medical Brigade, was the main speaker at the activity honoring Cuban, Kittichian and Venezuelan women present on behalf of the Medical Brigade, the Association of Cubans Resident in St. Kitts & Nevis and the Friendship Association St. Kitts Nevis-Cuba, the latter represented by its Chairwoman, Telca Wallace, and other guests. Earl Clark, columnist of the weekly Labour Spokesman and founder of the solidarity movement with Cuba in the 1980´s, dedicated also heartfelt words to the presence of women in the Cuban medical Brigade collaborating with the health services of the twin-islands Federation.
