Brazil, Cuba Agree to Boost Scientific and Technological Projects. In particular, both countries agreed to strengthen cooperation projects in biotechnology, nanotechnology, renewable energy and human resources training, Zamora said. These projects are in line with results of gatherings of ministers as part of the Third Meeting of the Working Group on Science, Technology and Innovation Brazil-Cuba, held in Havana in June 2010. Zamora said that in 2002, with the signing of an understanding memorandum between the Ministries of Science and Technology of both countries, a Work Programme was established. Results achieved in cooperation in these fields allow Cuba and Brazil to set higher goals, Cuban Ambassador said. (Cubaminrex-PL)
