Cuba and Suriname Relations Praised by Delano Bouterse CUBA, 25 May 2011.- The President of Suriname, Desire Delano Bouterse, highlighted in this capital the excellent state of relations with Cuba, as well as his country's interest in deepening cooperation bonds. We have a new opportunity to explore other possibilities, see what we have to offer each other to expand cooperation, stated the head of state upon his arrival to Havana, where he's on a two-day official visit, the Prensa Latina news agency reported. We're convinced that the visit will be a success, said Delano Bouterse, who will hold, during his stay, official talks with his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro, in addition to carrying out other activities, the National Television Newscast reported.
