"Our dream is that each Traveling Caribbean Film Showcase edition is a true celebration of the people."
Addressing representatives of various media, the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of UNICEF and other guests, the Cuban representative said: "Our governments are obliged to promote the film in the region, with aesthetic values of authenticity, reflecting our dreams and contradictions, and definitely leave exiled royalties and cultural patterns that we have been imposed for decades."
