Cuba and Paraguay profound ties.
 CUBA, October 1, 2011.- Cuban minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and his Paraguayan counterpart, Jorge Lara, reiterated in Asuncion the compromise of both countries with the development of ties among the Latin American countries.
Lara praised in a press conference in the Chancellery, the relation of confidence and compromise of both governments before the responsibilities of Latin America. He recalled both Ministers were present during the 66 Sessions of United Nation General Assembly and Paraguay share similar positions with Cuba.
Lara added that Paraguay denounced the Blockade against Cuba which they considered was a violating situation and also recognized the Pastinian state.
Both Ministers reiterated the compromise of Cuban and Paraguay with the regional agenda.
The Cuban Minister highlighted the profound and historical ties between both nations. He also stressed that his oficial visit to Asunción was also to express gratitude to President Fernando Lugo and Minister Lara for the permanent company of Paraguay to the defense of the international law and the freedom of commerce.
