Cuban -Venezuelan cultural week celebrated the Cuban Cultural Day in Jakarta

INDONESIA, October 24, 2011 .- With a large sample of different artistic expressions was opened a Cuba and Venezuela cultural week opened in  the cultural complex of the Institute of the Arts in Jakarta, with the screening of "Viva Cuba". This film had a large acceptance and appreciation of its values by the public, among them teachers, students and specialized  art analysts.
The opening ceremony was presented by the Dean of Cinema and Television Faculty Mr. Gotot Prakosa, as well as the Deputy rector and Indonesian filmmakers.
Along with an exhibition of  Venezuelans photos and films, the Cuban side was conspicuous by his hand, through the display of an exhibition of paintings, lithographs and prints by renowned Cuban artists, as well as one in which the main actors were the paintings by the children of the Caribbean island  with a colorful and large simple.
 No less important was the presentation of a varied sample of the  well-known  Cuban cinema with the film "Kangamba", "El Benny" and "The Broken Gods."
 The contagious music and rhythms  beat of renowned musicians “Adalberto y su Son Orchestra”,  and  Maikel Blanco and more sauce, as well as the Cuban singer William Vivanco, encouraged the meeting during the days of the celebration of important cultural event.
 The intervention of the Cuban Ambassador emphasized the significance of the Cuban Culture Day and marked the triumph of the Revolution 1st. January 1959  as a milestone in the development of all art forms, despite the economic blockade and the material limitations suffered by the island for more than 50 years, including the culture. Finally ended his speech hoping that the international community to express their vote in support of the Cuban resolution tomorrow October 25 at the United Nations, which calls for the lifting of the unjust blockade, that impede the full development of cultural ties.
The cultural show will extend opened for a week and  it will have an itinerant character and will be presented in five cities in Indonesia, including Yogyakarta, Solo, Bali, Bandung y  Pandan Penjang en Sumatra. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Indonesia)
