In Cuba Delegation from Uruguay´s Frente Amplio

CUBA, October 1st, 2011.-  José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party received last Saturday morning a delegation for the Frente Amplio from Uruguay, headed by his president, Jorge Brovetto.  

During the meeting, both leaders talked about the international situation, in particular Uruguay, as well as the perspectives of Frente Amplio, political force within the government of that country.

Balaguer reiterated the historical friendship with the Uruguayan nation, especially with Frente Amplio, and offered an explanation on the results of the 6th Congress of Cuba´s Communist Party and the preparation of the Party´s National Conference.

The delegation that was invited by Cuban Communist Party, is composed by the national deputy Ivonne Passada; Jorge Mazzarovich, president of the Commission of  International Relations of Frente Amplio, and Ernesto Etchepare, delegate of organizations of National Plenary of Frente Amplio.
Jorge Ariaz Díaz, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations together with other officials of the Central Committe of the Cuban Communist Party were also present at the meeting. (Cubaminrex)
