Havana Rakatan at Theatre Carre in Amsterdam

THE NETHERLANDS, September 5, 2011.- The Ambassador of Cuba Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina and members of the Cuban Embassy to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, attended the past 31 August, the Musical Show Havana Rakatan,  who made an excellent performance at the famed Theatre Carré in Amsterdam, capital of Netherlands.

The spectacle of great artistic quality made a wide and varied tour of Cuban music from the Spanish and African roots, country music, son, mambo, chachacha, salsa, bolero and other current Cuban rhythms.

At the end of the show, the Deputy Director of the Theatre Mr. Bart van Heugten, accompanied the Cuban diplomats to greet the artists, to whom the Ambassador said some enthusiastic words of congratulations and support for his excellent work, as ambassadors of Cuban culture and image of our country.

Previously the talented Cuban set performed in London at the Sadler´s Wells Theatre in the framework of its successful European tour, where their performance in Amsterdam from 31 August to 3 September was  an important point. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Países Bajos)
