Suriname supports the fight for the release of the Cuban Five HAVANA, September 15, 2011. - The president of the Parliament of Suriname, Jennifer Geerlings-Simons, stated yesterday her support to the campaign for the release of the Cuban antiterrorists, unjustly imprisoned in the United States. During a meeting with relatives of the Cuban Five, held at the Cuba Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Surinam deputies received a detailed explanation of the process against Gerardo, Antonio, Ramon, Rene and Fernando. Cuban Five’s relatives appreciated the visitors´ interests in the just struggle for their release as another way to break the silence on the case. (Cubaminrex/ Granma)
