Paraguayan President Meets with Cuban Ambassador
Ambassador Guanche added that important bilateral visits are being prepared for the current year, something usual between both nations. While responding to a question related to the decease of common inmate Wilman Villar Mendoza, Guanche regretted his death and added that Villar Mendoza received all the necessary medical attention as any Cuban citizen would have because the main purpose of the Cuban Revolution has been and will be to safeguard life. PARAGUAY, January 23, 2012.- The President of the Republic of Paraguay, Fernando Lugo, met, in audience, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Paraguay, Bernardo Guanche Hernández. Upon concluding the audience, the Cuban diplomat commented to the press on the issues discussed with President Lugo, all of which had bilateral nature and are intended to strengthen the relations between Cuba and Paraguay.
