Cuba Special Envoy to the African Union Summit Meets with President of Comoros
ETHIOPIA, February 2, 2012.- H.E. Ikililou Dhoinine, President of the Comores, met with Ambassador Alberto Velazco, Head of Africa Subsaharan at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and head of the Cuban delegation to the African Union Summit.
Both officials discussed issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Moroni and Havana, particularly, the Comoros students in Cuba. They also dialogue don the potential cooperation in areas like disasters prevention and climate changes.
President Ikililou Dhoinine highlighted the importance his country grants to the training of physicians in the prestigius universities of Cuba. (Cubaminrex)
