Chavez praises contribution of Cuban doctors in Venezuela.

VENEZUELA, September 16, 2010.-   Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez, reiterated his gratitude to the Cuban doctors in their country, where they have saved nearly 300 000 lives in six years of incessant work.

During a cabinet meeting broadcasted by Venezolana de Television, Chavez added that this figure is not a metaphor, because this people, without the adequate medical treatment, would have died. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
