Cuba Installs Ninth Health Center Against Cholera in Haiti.
CUBA, December 13th, 2010.- The Cuban Medical Brigade in Haiti installed the ninth cholera treatment center in a suburb of Port-of-Prince. Granma newspaper specified that the Cuban mission is working in 11 other health centers.
The third group of 56 Cuban members of the Henry Reeve International Contingent of Specialized Disaster and High-Risk Epidemic Brigade arrived to Haiti on Sunday.
The collaboration and work of the Cuban medical mission in its fight against cholera in Haiti has been recognized by various international organizations, including the United Nations and the Panamerican Health Organization. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
