Trinitarians students travel to Cuba.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, August 28TH,2010.-  The Ambassador of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, Humberto Rivero Rosario, bid farewell at Piarco Airport to the 4 Trinitarians students who will begin their studies of Medicine at the Latin American School of Medical Sciences (ELAM), as part of the Cuban´s Fellowship Programme. 

During the meeting the Trinitarians students had the opportunity to meet students from other the Caribbean islands that, like them, are traveling to Cuba to begin their studies and others to give continuity to the same.  

Prior to the trip, the Ambassador met with students and their parents at the Cuban Embassy. During the meeting the Ambassador gave a brief explanation on the Cuban Fellowship Programme as well as on the creation of the ELAM. He also took the opportunity to advise the students to study with zeal and dedication in order to become good doctors. (Cubaminrex - Embacuba Trinidad and Tobago)
