French Euro Deputy Highlights Cuban Support to Haiti.

CUBA, Januery 19th, 2011.-  French Euro-deputy Jacky Hennin highlighted Cuban support to Haiti for years, resulting in excellent performance in the field of health care.

  Speaking at the European Parliament (EP), regarding the difficult situation in Haiti a year after the devastating earthquake that struck the nation, Henin regretted the fact that Europe has done so little contribution so far.

Hennin said that the Haitian people suffer death and desolation, the promises of rebuilding their capital are increasingly remote and just get the necessary assistance to alleviate a host of needs.

In his speech, Hennin thanked the State and people of Cuba for their support and commitment to Haiti for binder medical help on the ground and rebuild 76 health centers and hospitals.

Henin held that the United States and the European Union would do well to be inspired by the Cuban example, instead of using the media effect that ultimately evil lurks a charitable view of the collaboration that Haiti needs.

Hennin also called the World Bank and International Monetary Fund to demonstrate good will and cancel the debt of Haiti. (Cubaminrex-PL)
