On today’s occasion of your 83rd birthday, we send you, from halfway around the world, warmest felicitations and sincere wishes of good health and a longer and more productive life.

We salute you for continuing as the guiding light of the Cuban Revolution which staunchly defends socialism and international anti-imperialist solidarity.

We wish you to remain as a strong voice representing the aspirations for peace, freedom and socio-economic progress of all developing countries, and of all the working peoples of the world.

On this your 83rd birthday, we pledge to you our greater efforts for the forging of closer Philippine-Cuban friendship, for the propagation of stronger Philippine solidarity with Cuba, and for bringing closer the liberation of the Cuban-5.
