President of Sahrawi Sends Greetings to Cuban Revolution leaders

CUBA, December 28, 2010.- Mohamed Abdelaziz, President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, has sent cordial greetings to his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro and Revolution leader Fidel Castro, mentioning that he always reads the Comandante’s “Reflections”.

Abdelaziz welcomed a cultural delegation from Cuba at the presidential palace, and expressed to them the gratitude of the Saharawi people for Cuban solidarity for more than 35 years, reported Prensa Latina news agency.

The Cuban trio Dinoh and six dancers of the National Folkloric Ensemble entertained the Saharawi on two occasions.

Abdelaziz joked with the Cuban artists, telling them that they could mingle unnoticed with the Sahrawi people since they were wearing the attire of women and men of his country presented to them as gifts by his wife and Minister of Culture, Khadija Hamdi. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
