Frei Betto to present new edition of his book “Fidel and Religion” in Santa Clara.

CUBA, February 9th, 2011.- The Theologian of Liberation, Frei Betto, will visit the Cuban city of Santa Clara as a guest of the XX International Book Fair 2011, where he will offer a conference on Feb 24, and also present a new edition of his book, “Fidel and Religion.”

Frei Betto, Brazilian Dominican priest after his first meeting with Fidel Castro in 1980, requested to the Cuban revolutionary leader an interview to talk about religion.

From that first meeting came the long and revealing interview that the people of Santa Clara will have the opportunity to acquire in this new edition of the Cuban Book Fair.  (Cubaminrex-RHC)
